SHIPPING UPDATE - ALMOST THERE!

Dear Backers,
We hope that you have had a great week.
We are currently working hard to prepare all shipments.
Most shipments are close to arriving at their fulfilment centres and we are clearing customs in the US, Germany and UK. Australia is preparing shipping out. Same for HK.
We are thrilled to deliver your Shiroi Hana knives soon!

We are still waiting for an exact update from our shipping agent but we hope to start dispatching in most jurisdictions by the end of next week. It seems that we are roughly on schedule this far.
As you know, cross-collaborations is a way for creators to keep marketing costs down, which allows us to keep lower prices on rewards. Below are some live campaigns that we are cross-collaborating with.

We are delighted to let you know that our Stingray Non-stick Pan Collection has officially launched on Kickstarter. You are the first we tell.
In our previous updates, we have presented the unique design and the described the top quality non-stick coating from Swiss Ilag - ILAG PROFESSIONAL.

However, we have not yet shared the opinion of a professional chef. In our pre-launch campaign we noted comments like "impractical" or would never be "used by a professional chef". We tested the pan with Agnar "Aggie" Sverrison, one of London's rising Michelin Star chefs and head chef at Texture. Although originally from Iceland, he is considered among the greatest of British Chefs. What did Aggi think about the Stingray?

Dear Backers,
We understand from your messages and comments that you are eagerly looking forward to delivery of your Shiroi Hana knives. That is understandable! So are we.
I am sorry that we have not updated you sooner, but I wanted to make sure that all goods were on the ships and all shipments on track. In our last update we highlighted that there was a possible delay of 2 weeks. Sadly this has increased in some jurisdictions. Please see your region below for a more exact estimate.
USA
All US goods have been loaded on the container ship Ever Lifting. She will off-load in Savannah, Georgia, where the goods will be transported by rail the last bit to Nashville. Our current ETA in Nashville is April 10th. After that it typically takes about 3 days for the goods to reach our fulfillment center, Cimetra, in Antioch, Tennessee.
We need to give them a few days to unpack the goods, but hope to start dispatching from April 16th. Please beware that Cimetra is only able to dispatch about 100 orders per day. This means that the last orders will be dispatched around April 25th and it takes about 2-3 days to deliver depending on where in the US you live.
THE UK & NORWAY
All goods for the UK and Norway are transported on board MSC Kalina. She will reach the UK around April 3rd, after which we need about 3 days to reach Coleville, form where we dispatch all orders. Just as for the US, Pick and Pack Express will need a few days to unpack and organise the shipments. We hope that your rewards will start shipping from April 8th. We estimate that the last orders will be shipped out on April 12th. Within the UK, it takes 2-3 days to deliver. To Norway it is likely to be 1-2 days more.
EU & SWITZERLAND
All EU and Swiss backers shall be glad to learn that all your rewards are transported on board Ever Gifted. She is estimated to reach Hamburg on April 10th. Thereafter the goods will be transported to Hof, Bavaria, to Multi Trans, our German fulfillment center. We need to give them a few days to prepare. It is the first time we work with them for a Kickstarter campaign, so we currently do not know their exact processing capacity. We estimate that the should be able to process around 100 orders per day. This means that the last orders are likely to leave their warehouse around April 25th.
CANADA
Our Canadian rewards are currently on board OOCL Kaoshiung. ETA for the goods to reach Toronto is April 5th. Please add a few days for transport to the fulfillment center and a few more days for processing. We estimate that we can dispatch everything by April 15th.
AUSTRALIA
We are currently awaiting confirmation of the name of the ship for Australian goods, but as the shipping time is shorter, we hope to be able to provide a more exact update shortly.
THE REST OF THE WORLD
The rest of the world will be dispatched from HK. We hope to be able to start dispatching packages on 30th March as promised in the campaign.

I understand that some of you are disappointed about the delay. We are sorry about that, but I hope that the update above gives you some comfort that the goods are on the way.
However, the good news is that the knives look fantastic, are supremely sharp and are soon in your hands. Thank you for your patience.
