Dear Backers, 

We are sorry for the silence during the holiday period. We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a smashing New Year celebration. 

We have good news. The production of all items is nearing completion. Everything has gone to plan this far. We therefore believe that deliveries in most jurisdictions from 30 March 2019 is still a realistic target. 

We will ask you all to re-confirm your shipping address on Backerkit at the beginning of March in case you have moved. You will be sent an email about this at the end of February. 

We are pleased to inform you that this production batch has turned out very well. Please see some pictures below. 

We hope that you are as excited as we are to put our Shiroi Hana Chef Knives to use at home.

PRODUCTION UPDATE DECEMBER

Dear Backers, 

Thank you for your patience and support this far. 

As noted in our previous update in November, production is underway and as far as we know at this stage we are still on schedule. 

We are currently finalizing the packaging for some of the new product add-ons such as the new knife blocks, the burger flipper and the microplane grater. 

We note that 150 backers have still not checked-out on Backerkit. We have ordered spare quantities but we are not able to guarantee your pledge unless you check out by Sunday this week. So please check-out if you have not yet done so. 

We had some questions regarding the possibility to change the address. We have not yet locked down your addresses, but will send you an email in February/March to do so. It will be a couple of weeks before we start shipping out.

We have now confirmed all orders with our factories. This means that production is going to plan. Everything is scheduled to be completed in-time for shipping. Hooray!
